Give Your Baby a Welcome to the World from the President

We think each child is uniquely created for a special purpose and they need to know that the minute they arrive in our wonderfully crazy world. Their arrival should be celebrated, supported and blessed.  Turns out the President agrees. Did you know you could ask Presidents of the United States to write cards to your new baby?

Yes, you can!

To get your baby an official letter from the President write to:

The White House
Attn: Greetings Office
Washington, D.C. 20502-0039
[ ] Baby’s name
[ ] Date of birth
[ ] Your name
[ ] Phone number
[ ] Mailing address

You can also fax your request to: 202-395-1232.

Take note: Baby must have been born within the past 12 months and requests should be made after baby's birth. A minimum of six weeks is needed to process each request.

There is just something special about receiving a letter acknowledging your arrival to the world from the leader of the free world. And since words have power, the well wishes and joy expressed in these letters may very well be what a child needs to hear to become who he is created to be.

We would love to hear your stories of children who have received similar letters from a President and is now old enough to express thoughts about it.
